Personal Virtual Avatar is a successful product built by leveraging PLATMA. It aims to optimize the online presence of consultants, mental health specialists, and general advisors by empowering them with a virtual representative capable of managing communication on their behalf.
The virtual assistant is capable of responding simultaneously 24/7, which reduces churn and helps convert more leads into paying subscribers or schedule personal 1:1 sessions that suit both the client and the specialist empowered by the avatar.
The Challenge
When developing a new product, the main challenge was enabling domain specialists to test their hypotheses as quickly as possible—ideally by providing them with tools to tinker with software without needing to explain everything to technical specialists.
The next major issue was the need to move away from third-party proprietary LLMs toward a custom, fully owned solution. This shift was crucial to safely process user data once we transitioned from MVP to production—especially where users may entrust us with sensitive personal information.
The choice was made in favor of PLATMA due to its robust set of tools aimed at non-technical personnel and its inbuilt capabilities to create and manage custom LLMs.
The Solution
We created a mobile app that communicates with clients as if it were the specialist themselves—managing conversations, addressing issues, and supporting ongoing processes. It provides advice based on the expert’s own methodology and materials.
Clients are given access to an admin panel to monitor conversations, review usage statistics and behavioral data, and fine-tune materials and responses to maximize user satisfaction.
The Results
Customer satisfaction exceeded 80%, with the majority of users requesting a paid version after the MVP stage—both to support the creators and to unlock unlimited access to the product.
After testing the solution with a specific type of online advisor and target audience, we decided to expand it into a generalized product. This would enable an even broader range of information experts to grow their active customer base.
